Clean CarFax® Report
The Dodge Ram SRT-10 was created by DaimlerChrysler’s PVO (Performance Vehicle Operations) division. At the time, it was the largest and most powerful engine that had ever gone in a production passenger pickup truck. With 500hp and 525lb feet of torque, this truck set the world record at the time as the fastest production truck. It had sub 5.0 second 0 to 60 times, quarter mile times in the 13’s, and it reached over 150mph. Production only lasted for 3 model years and only 698 trucks built in silver were offered for 2004.
This example was built in January of 2004 and sold new by Larson Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Puyallup, Washington on February 13th, 2005. The first several owners all lived in Washington state and ended up not only servicing the truck at the selling dealership, but also traded it in/bought it from the same dealership. In April of 2012, it was sold to a Viper enthusiast in Oregon with 33k-miles. This owner kept the car for a couple years before selling it to the current Southern California owner in July of 2014 with 36k-miles.
The current owner is a long time local car enthusiast who has a wide variety of late model and vintage collectibles. We’ve been fortunate enough to help him sell nearly a dozen specialty cars for him. He has exceptional taste and all of his cars are in immaculate condition. He wanted a truck to move parts around periodically and thought this would be the perfect fun truck to do it in. He loves manual transmissions and there just weren’t a lot of trucks available with decent power and three pedals. This Viper truck certainly exceeded his performance expectations. However, for the last 5-years, he has barely added 3k-miles. Of course, this truck was regularly garaged as well as routinely serviced.
Besides regular oil services, this owner installed a removable carpet bed-liner and Roll-X cargo cover. Also, he recently had all the brakes done (rotors and pads). The rear spoiler was removed but included (see pics) so that the cargo cover could be used. It is missing one screw to bolt it down.
The exterior of this Ram SRT-10 is in exceptional condition and certainly indicative of a low mile and lightly used example. The paint on all the metal panels is original and verified with a paint meter (see pics). There are minimal signs of wear with some very minor blemishes (see pics). All the glass is in excellent shape and there are no major chips or cracks. This example was equipped with a rear sliding glass window. The 22” wheels are wearing their original finish and are in very good condition with some curb rash on a couple of the wheels (see pics). They are wrapped in Falken tires with more than half-life remaining, but they are older tires (2011). All the exterior lights work. The hood shocks are weak and will need to be replaced.
The interior is equally as nice and shows minimal signs of use. The seats have no cracks or tears and just mild wear on the exit bolsters. The headliner, carpet, and door panels all look fresh. The dash is perfect with no cracks. All the gauges work properly as well as all electric functions like mirrors, seats, windows, radio, and interior lights. The A/C blows cold as well (see pic).
This SRT-10 drives amazing. It has gobs of torque and power. It is truly surprising how fast it is. It starts easily with no smoking and holds an even idle. The power builds aggressively throughout the rev range. Shifting is easy and smooth with no slipping or grinding. The suspension is nicely matched to the power and although it’s a truck, turn in is sharp and it feels nicely balanced. The brakes are fantastic with great initial bite and no fading. The whole package inspires confidence. If you enjoy speciality/collector cars, this is the perfect “fun” stable mate for parts runs or honey-doos. Life’s too short to drive a boring truck. Of course, being already in the hands of collectors, they’ve preserved the originality with no crazy modifications.
California registration and smog are current through August of 2019.
This SRT-10 comes with one key with remote fob, jack, tool kit, lug wrench, and the original rear wing.

We appreciate the countless calls from brokers and dealers. As much as we would love to quickly “wholesale” this car to industry partners so they can make a quick profit, the car is on consignment (as are all of our offerings) and the owners have the final say.
If you have actually taken the time to read this far in our detailed description, I can’t imagine there are any questions you may have. However, if there is something I missed or you would prefer to hear the warm sound of a human voice (mine) reiterating the research I’ve provided above, I would be happy to help.
