The Turbo S has always been Porsche’s halo car, but the 991.1 model never grabbed the enthusiast’s attention.  That was all fixed with the 991.2 generation.  The automotive journalist community raved about the blend of power, comfort, and fun this generation delivered.  With 580hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, yes it was blindingly fast.  With 2.7-second 0 to 60 mph times and 10.7-second ¼ mile runs, what’s not to love?

This Porsche was built on July 26th, 2017, and sold on April 30th, 2018 by Porsche of North Olmsted, Ohio.  Although the Turbo S model comes well-equipped with many standard items that are usually options, this example was further special-ordered with the following:

  • GT Silver Metallic

The first owner lived here in Orange County and was the CEO for one of the largest food suppliers to the fast-food industry.  Due to a long-time relationship, he purchased this Turbo S via the North Olmstead Porsche dealership.  Shortly after purchasing, the car was shipped to his SoCal residence where it has lived for the past 7+ years.  This owner kept this Turbo S for a couple of years and serviced it at Newport Beach Porsche.  During his ownership, he took the car to BBi Autosport in Huntington Beach, California, and had an upgraded exhaust installed (stock included), IPD plenum, upgraded intercooler, and Cobb Tune.

He sold it to the current Orange County owners on February 3rd, 2020 with 4,212 miles.  These owners are a mature enthusiast couple who only added another 4k miles over the past 5 years.  During their care, they continued servicing this 911 at Newport Porsche.  Regular services performed include the following:

  • 10k mile service and inspection (1/20 @ 4,175 miles)
  • Oil service, brake flush, and inspection (3/21 @ 6,133 miles)
  • Oil service, wipers replaced, repair wheel, inspection (6/22 @ 7,283 miles)
  • Oil service, brake flush, cabin filter, air filter and inspection (11/23 @ 7,914 miles)
  • PPF (paint protect film) applied to the entire front nose of the vehicle.

The exterior of this Turbo S looks like new with minimal signs of wear.  The paint is in great shape with no major chips or other flaws.  The entire front nose is covered with PPF (paint protection film), which includes the hood, front fenders, front bumper, and side mirrors.  The glass is all original, including the windshield, and wears the proper factory stampings.  There are no major chips or scratches on the glass.  The factory centerlock wheels are wearing their original Pirelli tires at the wear bar on the rears and less than half on the fronts.  They should be replaced soon.  The ceramic brakes have near full life remaining.

The interior is equally as nice and fresh.  The two-tone leather is striking.  The front ventilated leather seats have no rips, tears, or heavy wear marks.  The rear seats look unused.  The headliner has no stains or sagging issues.  The carpet looks new with no stains and the factory-upgraded leather-edged floor mats still look new.  The door panels have no issues.  The full leather dash is free of cracks.  All the gauges and power controls work.

This Turbo S is insanely fast, yet incredibly easy to drive.  It’s comfortable on the freeway cruising yet quite engaging on a twisting back road.  The power delivery is incredible as it pulls hard throughout the rev range.  The brakes have retina-detaching stopping power but still do so with linear consistency.  The handling is crisp, precise, and intuitive.  This example is easy to drive daily but still fun on a weekend canyon run.

This Turbo is California registered to February of 2026.  It passes smog, but will need the stock exhaust installed to pass the visual.

This Porsche comes with 1 key, owner’s manuals with vinyl cover, maintenance booklet with dealer stamps, Turbo S welcome kit, tool kit, centerlock wheel socket, hub cap remover, tire repair kit, indoor car cover, and air compressor.

**Note: VIN and other numbers withheld to protect against fraud.  All numbers including VIN, Engine, and color will be provided to serious buyers.

Why is everyone driving so slow?

Oops…my bad.  I’m piloting a 2018 Turbo S.

I cut in and out of traffic like a Benihana chef during my low-level test flight.

The slow-moving chicane of civilian congestion was slightly annoying.  So, I engaged the ventilation mode of the full leather adaptive sport seats while chilling with some smooth Jazz via the theater-style Burmester sound system.  It was like a Yanni concert in a cow’s mouth.

As my blood pressure dropped, I finally broke through the bottleneck of vehicles into some clean air.

Just before I pressed down on the gas pedal, I quickly peered at the gauges.  Wait! What?  I’m already at triple-digit speeds?  How is that even possible?

Instead, I tapped the massive ceramic brakes and slowed to a pedestrian crawl of 75mph.  So…this is the pace of the commuter plebes?

With the acceleration test completed, I moved on to the 1+ lateral G test via multiple freeway cloverleaf on-ramps.

I’m still trying to dislodge my gallbladder from my liver.
