This 3rd generation Cayenne GTS (9Y0) returned to the V8 engine that was missed on the previous generation.  Plus, it now receives twin-turbocharging, which is good for 453hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. It’s also good for towing at least 7,000 lbs.

This Porsche was built on November 14th, 2022 by Porsche of Redwood City, California with an in-service date of  January 29th, 2023.  It was ordered with the following factory options:

The MSRP was $132,060.

The first owner was from Hayward, California.  They took delivery on February 7th, 2023.  They drove it 10,286 miles before trading it into the selling Porsche dealer on April 29th, 2024.  This GTS went through Porsche’s CPO process, which included full service and inspection.  A 2-year/unlimited mileage warranty was included, which covers this GTS until January 29th, 2029.  Coverage details are here.  It was sold to the current Orange County, California owner on May 8th, 2024 with 10,296 miles.

The current owner also purchased the Porsche Premier Tire & Wheel* package for an additional $4,284.  If the next owner wishes to purchase this warranty, it’s available at a discounted rate.  Otherwise, the seller will refund it back to Porsche at a prorated amount.

Shortly after purchase, this owner had a local PPF (paint protection film) specialist install PPF over the entire front nose including the hood, front fenders, front bumper, headlights, and side mirrors.  Also, a special panoramic roof tint was applied to protect the interior further.

For the past 3½ months, this local owner has only added 958 miles (450 drove from the dealer’s home to SoCal).  Although he loves this GTS and it pairs nicely with his Turbo S, he’s just not using it very much.  Also, he has the opportunity to improve his vacation property and thought the money would be better used there.  We’ve sold several Porsches for this owner in the past and his cars are always exceptional.   We strongly suggested that he take it back to the selling Porsche dealer, but he would rather have us sell it more directly to an enthusiast.

As you can imagine, the condition of this Cayenne GTS is exceptional and still looks/smells like new.  All the paint is original as verified with a paint meter.  There are no signs of any prior repairs or damage.  There are also minimal signs of use with no significant scratches, chips, or dents.  All the trim and exterior lights are in good shape.  All the glass is original with no major flaws.  The factory wheels have no curb rash and are wearing their original Pirelli tires dated the end of 2022 with approximately half-life remaining.  The brakes appear to also have about half-life or slightly less remaining.

The interior is equally as nice and also looks new.  The leather/Alcantara seats show minimal signs of use with no cracks or tears.  The Alcantara looks nice as well without any matting.  The rear seats look unused.  The door panels, dash, carpet, and headliner all look perfect.  All the gauges and switches function properly.  This GTS looks very close to new.

The new GTS model just went up nearly 15% in price.  A similarly equipped example would be closer to $155k.  This is a great way to get a fresh Cayenne GTS at 35% off.  Plus, it has the same time frame of warranty coverage.

This Porsche has a current California registration valid until January 2025.

This Cayenne GTS comes with two main keys, owner’s manuals in vinyl case, original maintenance booklet with selling dealer option code sticker/stamps, retractable cargo cover, front license plate bracket, original window sticker, selling dealer promotional key chains (2), space saver spare tire, jack, tools, wheel locks with socket key, and air compressor.

*The current owner purchased Porsche’s Premier Tire & Wheel Protection plan, which is good for 84 months from May of 2024 and is transferrable with a $50 transfer fee.  It’s available for purchase by the next owner for $2,000. More details here.

As my love for driving Porsches matures, so do I.

I adore the early air-cooled cars, but my knees complain each time I fold into one like a Cirque du Soleil contortionist.

When Porsche offered an SUV over 20 years ago, I jumped on that bandwagon and scoffed at it every chance I got.

However, each year, I feel the Venn diagram of my age/pain circle and Porsche’s SUV circle merging like a full solar eclipse.

I wanted so badly to hate this near-new Cayenne GTS, but after one freeway on-ramp Grand Prix, I caught myself grinning.  It’s like singing along to your favorite boy-band tune when no one is looking. 🤦‍♂️

I still want a short-wheelbase (SWB) early 911.  However, if it was slightly lifted with suicide doors (easier to swing the leg in without bending), I’d be satisfied.
