| Found nearly 20-years ago in a Southern California garage, this rare BMW almost became a vintage racer. However, it was saved and began a very slow restoration. Finally, it was completed in August of 2016 just in time for the 100th anniversary celebration of BMW at Monterey Car Week. So, for the first time in 2 decades, this 1600 took to the roads again and performed stellar on a 1,000-mile journey with my fellow Bavarian enthusiasts.
