Texas Hill Country Rallye 2017

The Hill Country Rallye started for us as a 3 day adventure getting to Kerrville, Texas.  We drove our 1973 Irish Green Porsche (aka La Tortuga) from Costa Mesa, California to Texas.  We made a stop in Blythe, California and spent the night in Las Cruces, New Mexico having driven through Arizona.  The next day was spent touring White Sands National Park as well as Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico.  The trip took us to Marfa, Texas for the night, then Marathon, Texas and finally arriving in Kerrville to participate in the Rallye.

The rally included 165 participants driving 130 air cooled Porsches through the back roads of the hill country north west of San Antonio.  It was 2 wonderful days of driving, lots of camaraderie and generally a great time for everyone.
