These lyrics came from the Grateful Dead’s song, Truckin’. For whatever reason, I just got this song stuck in my head before I left for this year’s Targa California. I found myself humming it as my dad and I drove all over the Central California countryside.
What an outstanding event: great cars and camaraderie. Nothing more fun than 150 like-minded vintage auto enthusiasts coming together for a few days of fantastic back road cruising. The roads were amazing. The views were breathtaking. But, the people made it all worth while.
