The new 570S Spider was unveiled to the public at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. It came to North America as a 2018 model. The hardtop is a two-piece power aluminum folding system that hides away neatly. With the top up, it still preserves the original coupe styling. This clever system only adds an additional 46kg over the coupe with a total vehicle weight of 3,276 lbs. The engine produces 562hp from its twin-turbo 3.8L V8, which launches from 0 to 60mph in just 2.7 seconds, which is a negligible difference from the coupe. Despite its super/hyper car status, it still maintains superb ride quality for daily use or longer road trips.
This McLaren was built in October of 2017 and sold new on December 17th, 2017 by O’Gara Coach Company (McLaren authorized dealer) of Beverly Hills, California. It was special ordered with the following options:

The current Orange County enthusiast ordered/purchased this McLaren new. He is a long-time sports car fan who also owns a company in the automotive space that works with many major auto manufacturers, including McLaren. He purchased this McLaren to use for various media events as well as to display in his office lobby. The first event was tied in with McLaren where Ayrton Senna’s nephew, Bruno Senna, drove the car on a parade at Monterey Car Week in 2018. Also, the late musician/rapper, Juicy WRLD, featured it in his music video, Fast.
For the past 5 years, this owner has only added 5k miles. During his care, it was serviced at McLaren of Newport Beach, California. It went in on 5 occasions for service. This owner is shifting his collection towards air-cooled Porsches and asked us to help locate the next owner.
The exterior of this McLaren is in excellent condition and clearly not abused or tracked. The paint is original and is almost a dark charcoal look under certain lighting. There are no major scratches or chips. The underside of the door (which doubles as the bottom of the rocker) has some wear signs, which is typical. The orange exterior accents were installed by the local McLaren dealership. There are a few small areas they are peeling. They can easily be removed. There are some superficial scratches on the underside of the valances, but not noticeable unless the vehicle is on a lift. The glass is all original, including the windshield, and wears the proper factory stampings. There are no significant chips or scratches. There is a small plastic trim piece that has snapped. It’s on the driver’s side of the roof section. With the purchase, a new piece is included. The optional lightweight wheels have no curb rash or any other significant blemishes. They are wearing the original Pirelli tires, which have tread remaining (50% – 75% front / 35% – 45% rear), but should be replaced due to age. The brake pads are at near full life and the rotors look new.
The interior is equally as nice and indicative of a low-mile/garaged example. The MSO leather/Alcantara/carbon interior is in excellent shape with no rips, tears or cracking. The exit bolsters are also in good shape. The carpet, door panels, dash, and headliner all look fresh. All the electric/power functions (windows, mirrors, seats, spider top, etc.) work properly. The A/C system blows cold and the entertainment system operates properly.
This McLaren starts easily and drives properly with no instrument warning lights or other issues. The ride quality is surprisingly superb as it soaks up the irregularities of uneven road surfaces. The power is great regardless of which dynamic mode you chose. The cabin is surprisingly quiet and it is very well composed for even daily use. Of course, on the performance end, it’s spectacular and does everything as advertised. However, its strength is its ability to be used as a regular car. The nose lift system really makes living with it a delight.
This 570S has current California registration paid to February 2024.
Included with this McLaren is 1 main key, tow hook, fill nozzle, tire flat repair can, car cover, and McLaren branded CTek battery tender.
