The Hill Country Rallye started for us as a 3 day adventure getting to Texas. We drove our Irish Green Porsche 911 (aka La Tortuga) from Costa Mesa, California to Texas. We stopped in Albuquerque, New Mexico, then Marathon, Texas, and finally arrived in Kerrville to participate in the Rallye. Along the way, we met up with other travelers coming from different states and they joined us. The rally included nearly 200 participants driving 130 air cooled Porsches through the back roads of the hill country north west of San Antonio. It was 2 wonderful days of driving, lots of camaraderie and generally a great time for everyone. www.hillcountryrallye.com
