This was the 15th running of the Targa California. Instead of driving our usual Central California route, this year the Targa California headed south to the towns of Palm Desert, Borrego Springs, and Alpine, California. Over 100 like-minded enthusiasts joined in this non-competitive vintage tour in a variety of classic cars. We covered over 600 miles that took us from the Salton Seat at 250 feet below sea level to 6,000+ foot peaks of Mt. Laguna and Palomar Mountain.
