26 Porsche 356s gathered in Santa Ynez Valley in September of 2020 to celebrate the anniversary of Ferry Porsche’s birthday. Examples from Pre-A through C bodies were represented. We spent the day driving 170-miles of beautiful winding roads with like minded enthusiasts. With near empty roads all day, it was as if we were back in the 50’s/60’s. I was fortunate to get to experience a time warp survivor: a very original 1963 356 S with 46k miles and incredibly original preservation example. It was my first time driving a 356 closer to the limit and I was shocked at how good these cars are for being 60-years old. Thank you Dirk Layer for organizing and hosting.
